From a Dream to Your Plate

Piada began with a simple yet bold idea: bring the vibrant flavors of authentic piada — the beloved flatbread-based street food of Italy's Emilia-Romagna region — to the streets of Cincinnati, Ohio. Our founders traveled through Northern Italy, learning from local artisans, tasting centuries-old recipes, and falling head-over-heels for the piada tradition.

Back home, they set out to recreate that magic using responsibly sourced, fresh-daily ingredients. No shortcuts, no compromises. The Founding

Piada opens its first location on Glenway Ave, Cincinnati. Our founders bring authentic Italian street food recipes learned firsthand in Emilia-Romagna to Ohio's heartland.

2014

Menu Expansion
